SUMMER COLLECTION
About Us
It all started in 2019 by the Red sea in Nuweiba’a where I was volunteering as a school teacher; teaching bedouin kids in a communal school. Having had the chance to meet volunteers from all around the world, I always gave them one of my personal belongings as a souvenir to keep when they are back to urban life. Tshirts were the most common gift and I always wrote on them whatever I felt our bond represents. On a random day, Jo (A Dutch volunteer and an Um Ali die hard fan) called me from Amsterdam and told me how the tshirt I gave her helped her communicate deeply with strangers and make friends. Over the next year I researched and worked on how to pass on the stories till I ended up with KOmplicated; a platform that is predicated on helping people to open up and speak with those we meet on our journeys realizing that our challenges, no matter how personal, are still universal among virtual strangers from all over the world. At the end, what isn’t KOmplicated?
